Timothy Hosford3, b. Oct. 20, 1662, Windsor; d. Jan. 7, 1740, Litchfield, Conn. He m. (1) Dec. 15, 1689, Hannah Palmer, d. Jan. 8, 1701/2; he m. (2) Jan. 24, 1706, Abigail Buckland, da. Thomas, b. Nov. 11, 1667, Windsor. Thomas Buckland1 was a Freeman in 1635, prob. of Dorchester; early removed to Windsor. He served in the Pequot War during 1637. His wife was Temperance Denslow, da. Nicholas1. Nicholas Denslow1 was in Dorchester in 1630; he was a Freeman in 1633 (Mar. 4), and removed about 1640 to Windsor, where he d. Mar. 1667. His wife, Elizabeth (--), d. there Aug. 13, 1669.

Assuredly, they were related. But Timothy is Abigail Buckland's father, not Thomas. This is confirmed by The Great Migration Begins, which has Nicholas Denslow's daughter, Temperance, married to Thomas Buckland. Denslow's will leaves land to Timothy Buckland, his grandchild.

Fearnot Burlinson (Edward), b. 1679 in Suffield and m. 8 Feb. 1704/5, Elizabeth, dau. of Timothy and Abigail (Vore) Buckland. He received 5 1/2 acres from the town of Suffield CT 2 April 1713 and he was elected a town official 7 March 1726. He d. 13 Nov. 1732 in Suffield.

Among the list of freemen in Windsor 7 Oct 1669 are Timothy and Nicholas Buckland.

16 JAN 1665/66 he was admitted to the Windsor church.

The inventory of his estate was taken in November 1689 and totalled L167-8-8. There was one son, Thomas, and 4 daughters then living.
