    THOMAS Rand son of Francis Rand, Sandy Beach, aged 68 in 1720. Rated in Greenland 1690; j. 1698; constable (Newcastle) 1699-1700. An early wife and family may have been wiped out in the massacre of 1691. In 1711 his wife was Hannah. Lists 52, 57, 313a, 315ab, 316, 332b. His will, 25 Feb. 1731-2 - 24 Oct. 1736, mentions land bot from his sister. Mary Barnes and Sarah Herrick and lists his children...Lydia, m. Joshua Foss (3 jr.), Elizabeth.
