    Kansas, Ill., May 17 — Death came to Thomas E. Ogle, 59, retired telegraph operator for the New York Central Railroad company, at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday night, following a heart attack suffered two hours previous.
    The body will be removed to the residence Friday morning from the Forbes-Hutchins funeral home. Funeral services will probably be held Saturday.
    Mr. Ogle, son of Atkin and Emily Gilbert Ogle was born in Ashmore and had always resided in this community. Thirty-five years ago he moved to Kansas following his marriage to Ella Radcliff of Dudley, who survives with two daughters, Pvt. Betty Jane Dolton of WAC, stationed at Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., and Mrs. Gene Knowles of Terre Haute.
    Also surviving are a granddaughter, Ann Knowles; three brothers, George of Kansas, William of Ashmore and Charles of Paris; and one sister, Mrs. Hattie Blair of Conlogue. A daughter, Harriet, is deceased.
    Mr. Ogle had been a telegraph operator for the Big Four for 35 years, serving at Dudley and Kansas. He was retired three and one-half years ago.
    The deceased was a member of Kansas Masonic lodge and the Order of Railroad Telegraphers.

    Kansas, 111., May 18 — Funeral services for Thomas E. Ogle, who died suddenly Wednesday night, will be at two thirty o'clock Saturday afternoon at the residence with Rev. F. A. Grunewald, Bement, Ill., former Presbyterian minister of Kansas, officiating. Burial will be at Ashmore cemetery.

    T. E. Ogle Funeral Rites Held Saturday Afternoon With Burial at Ashmore
    Funeral rites for Thomas E. Ogle, who passed away Wednesday evening of last week, were held Saturday afternoon at the home in charge of the Rev. F. A. Grunewald of Bement, a former pastor of Kansas Presbyterian church. He was assisted by the Rev. C. F. Nagel, pastor of Kansas Harmony-Methodist churches.
    Carl Batchelor of Paris sang two solos, "Beautiful Garden of Prayer," and "Beyond the Sunset," accompanied by Mrs. George Kirchner at the piano.
    Flowers were cared for by Mrs. W. O. Nay, Mrs. Dorothy Wilhoit, Miss Helen Gougli, Mrs. George Huffman of Terre Haute, Mrs. Francis Duensing, Mrs. Sherman Pinnell, Mrs. Henry Bradford, Mrs. Wendell Bishop, Mrs. Don Troll and Miss Maxine Wright.
    Bearers were Carl F. Ogle, Charles Ogle, Sam Blair, of Paris, Steve Blair of Terre Haute, Bruce Gilbert of Mattoon and Geroge Kirchner.
    Interment was made in Ashmore cemetery.
