Thomas Meador was able to make a deed in 1658 (at least age 21), so would have been born by 1636 or 1637
    - 1658 sold 25 acres of land, "part of the land given unto me by my father, Thomas Meades deceased, and to my brother [name missing]." Thomas' signature was a unique mark, a cross with barred ends, not found anywhere else in records
    - the grant of land for 450 acres (originally made to Thomas Browning in 1657, assigned to John Cook in 1659, assigned to Thomas Mead(or)s in 1659 and granted 1664) remained in the Meador family for several generations - passing to Thomas Mead's grandson John, his son Richard, then to his son William, confirming the family lineage.
