Without proper documentation, Thomas's parentage should be treated with considerable caution. Many undocumented sources on the internet provide varied and sometimes contradictory information regarding Thomas. It should be noted that there is another Thomas Marlow, born about 1805, also possibly in Virginia, who also lived in Campbell County, Tennessee. Either Thomas might or might not be the son of Allen and Jane Marlow.
