Marriage
A Thomas Marlow and Elizabeth Ward were married in Rhea County, Tennessee on 3 November 1824,[1] which is consistent with a daughter Elizabeth born about 1826 or 1827. Various undocumented sources on the internet (particularly on Ancestry.com Public Member Trees) claim that Elizabeth Ward is the first wife of a different Thomas Marlow, who remarried in 1847. There are obviously at least two Thomas Marlows, and more work is needed to clarify their parents, marriages, and children. One of them may or may not be the son of Allen Marlow and Jane Asbury.
