Thomas and Miranda settled in Oconee County, South Carolina until 1879 or 1880 when they moved to the Liberty community in Marion County, Texas. They had 14 children. The first 6 born in South Carolina, the last 8 in Texas Mary Eliza--1871-1958-married William Fleetwood Cox, They had 5 children: Rufus B., Kennon, Eleanor, Ida, and William Albert. Wesley Reed--1872-1908-married Mrs. Nan Cox Maxwell who had 3 children: Essie, Pearl, Virow and Wesley & Nann had 3: Kate, Nell, Jessie. Samuel Birdwell--1874-1903-married Emma Hamilton in 1896 in Coffeyville in Upshur County, Texas. They had 5 children: Claud, Ada, Clarence, Fred and Willie Kay. Fletcher Timothy--1876-1963-married Docia Jordan in 1911, but separated before their daughter Edna Mae was born. Fletcher married Ida Bell Blondell and they had 3 children: Albert, Travis, and Ada Lou. William Marshall--1877-1969-married Ina Meguiar in 1908 and they had 5 children: Ruth, Paul, Lois, Woodrow, and Opal. Buried in Garden of Memories, Fort Worth, TX. Martha Kay--1881-Aft. 1973-married Tremuel Henderson in 1900 and they had 11 children: Lena Belle, Lonnie, Louis, Jewell, Josephine, Ruby, Bishop, Marvin, Vivian, Madeline, and Paul. Leola "Ola"--1883-1949-married Amos Cloninger in 1901 and they had 10 children: Foy Malvin, Gladys, Cecille,Alice, Willie B., Iris, Verna Maye, Sidney, Jaynes, and Mary Laverne. Alpha Eula--1885-Aft. 1973-married Thomas Hanson Jaynes (cousin) in 1905 and they had 2 children: Thomas Bruce, and Ludie. Dee Burt--1888-1958-married Laura Cline in 1911 and they adopted a daughter, Laverne. Alice Paralee--1890-Aft. 1973-married Frank Lightfoot in 1908 and they had 4 children: Curtis, Edna Mae, Margaret, and Shirley Gay. Willard Grady--1891-Aft. 1973-married Verena "Rena" Clinkscales on April 27, 1913 in Jefferson, TX and they had 3 children: Anna Josephine(Jo Ann), John Russell, And Alpha Lucille (Mickey). See p. 21 in Jaynes book. When Rena died, Willard married Nita McMichael. Buried in New Prospect, Jefferson, TX. Thomas Stalcup--1894-1972-married Johnnie Duncan in 1921 and they had 8 children: Orville, Joella, Bobby May, Freda Kay, W.T., Oneal, Lorene, and Mabel. Farmers, they are buried in New Bear Creek Cemetery in Cass County, Texas. See p. 20 in Jaynes book. John Bryant (Jack B.)--1897-Aft. 1973-married Katherine Hinkle and they had one son, Larry, before Katherine died
