    In the name of God Amen: I Thomas Hall being in a moderate state of health & knowing my self frail and mortal, and of disposing mind and memory praise be to God do make constitute or ordain this my Last Will & Testament in maner & form following, and after Christian recomendation or soul and Body I dispose of my worldly goods as followeth, first I will that all by Debts and funeral charges be first paid and discharged, I allso give and bequeath unto Ann Hall my Eldest daughter the sum of sixty pounds to be paid when she comes to the age of one and twenty years, I allso give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Hall my second Daughter the sum of fivety pounds and the one halfe of my Houshold goods I allso give grant devise and bequeath unto Christopher Hall my Eldest son all my Read Estate wich I had from Thomas Hall my father he paying out of my said Estate the sum of two pounds yearly unto Anne Taner my Aunt During her Term of Life, and whereas it appears by my marriage settlement Between me and my wife Elizabeth that I have Reserved a power to charge any sum of money not Exceeding sixty pounds upon my said Estate, now by virtue of that said power I do hereby charge my said Estate or any part of parcell of it with the payment [some lines crossed out] whereas Ten poun of the said Twenty was given by John Hall my Brother five pound by Sarah Hall my sister two pound for [...] [some words crossed out]; and whereas I purchased and Estate called Llwyngow from Richard Savage and Land now I give grant and devise all that my messuage called Llayn(?) with its appurtenances now in the tenance and occupation Evan Lewis, Excepting or Reserving Caeyr Benglog wich is in my own possession to my own use, unto Christopher Hall my Brother Edward Bennett my Brother in Law John Savage my cousin and Andrew Savage my cousin they or some of them to Receive the yearly Rents and to pay yearly I desire this will may be transcribed if it please God to call me before I can do it my self It is my will that five pounds wich is in Evan Lewis Land be Returned and paid over to the use of the poor of Tref Eglwys for ever in Lieu of my Sister Sarah Legacy,, I do grant give & devise all all the Llieyn Tor unto Thomas Hall my youngest son subject to the provisoes hereafter named vor my Executrix and Trustees paying out of the said Llwyntor the sum of one Hundred pounds to Owen Owens Gent of Newtown with its Lawfull Interest I allso give grant and devise my two meadowes in Bodaioth called Doleofor & Llhoes Gorth [to] my Executrix and Trustees paying first out of the same the sum of one Hundred pounds unto Charles Ashton and its … Lawfull Interest and I do charge my eldest son Christopher Hall to pay out of my fathers Estate the sum of Twenty pounds unto Thomas Hall my younger son when the said Thos, shall attain unto the age of one & twenty years and whereas I have given by this will, the sum of sixty pound unto my Eldest Daughter, I do now give fifety to the Eldest, and the sum of fourty to the youngest and all my Houshold goods to be divided equally between my two said Daughters Anne and Elisabeth when they shall come to one & twenty years or the day of their marrage name my Loveing Brother Christopher Edwd Benet my Brother in Law to be overseer or Trustees & desire the sum of money as shall be needfull upon the said Bought [...] unto Ane taner for her Life June 4 1739
    yearly out of the said Rents the sum of five pounds unto Mathew Richards untill his tearm of mortgage shall be expired and then he is to Retaine the sum of thre(?) Hundred pound and they are Likewise to pay out of the said Tenement the sum of five pounds yearly unto Owen Owens of Newtown Gent untill such time as the said Owen Owens Gent shall Receive the sum of one Hundred pound, and I do absolutely give full power and authority to any tow or more of the aforenamed persons to raise or advance any sum or sums of money upon the said premises not Exceeding two Hundred pound toward the paying and discharging ofthe above named Mathew Richard and Owen Owens Gent, and I do hereby farther give absolute power and Authority unto the above named Christopher Hall Taner of Newtown my Brother Edwd Bennett my Brother in Law John Savage my cousin and Andrew Savage my cousin to Raise and advance the sum of one Hundred pounds upon my two meadows in Bodaioch and Cae Benglog toward paying Charles Ashton the sum of one Hundred pound I Borrowed of him and I do hereby give grant Devise and Bequeath all that Tenement or messuage with the appurtenances called Llwyn Tor and Caer Benglog and my two meadows in Bodaioch unto Christopher Hall Edwd Benet John Savage Andrew Savage my Trustees they paying the several sums of money above mentioned unto the persons above named untill such time that my son Christopher Hall shall attain to the age of one and twenty years of age all the Rest of my Goods I give and Bequeath unto Elizabeth Hall my Loveing wife whom I appoint soul Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament in Testimony whereof I have sett my hand
