    In the name of God Amen the second day of February in the year of our Lord God 1729 I Thomas Hall sen of the parish of Llannvonnog & Diocese of Bangor being weak of Body but of perfect minde & memory, praise be to God, do constitute & ordain this my Last Will & Testament in maner and form following, first, I committ my soul into the hands of allmighty God my Creatour and Christ Jesus my Redeemer hopeing through his merites death and passion to Receive perfect Remission and forgiveness for all my sins past and to inherit Everlasting Life my Body I comitt to the earth to be decently Buried att the discretion of my Executor hereafter name, And as for my Worldly goods in what is hath pleased God to Bless me with I dispose of them as followeth

    Imp I Will that all my debts & funeral charges shall be first paid and discharged

    Itt I give & bequeath unto Sarah Hall my youngest Daughter the sum of fourscore pounds And all my houshold goods

    Itt I give & bequeath unto Christopher Hall my second son the sum of Twenty pouns to be paid within the space of three years next after my decease

    Itt I give & bequeath unto my sister Anne the Wife of Thomas Taner the sum of Ten shillings

    Itt I give & bequeath unto my Daughter Anne the Wife of Morris Davies the sum of Ten shilling

    Itt I give & bequeath unto Thomas Hall my Grandson of Newtown the sum of Ten shillings

    Itt I give & bequeath unto Margrett Hall my Grand daughter of Newtown the sum of Ten shillings

    Itt I give & bequeath David Davies my Grandson the sum of Ten shillings

    Itt I give and bequeath unto Christopher Hall my grandson the sum of Ten shillings and my chest and all my Latin bookes

    Itt I give & bequeath unto Anne Hall my Grand Daughter the sum of Ten shillings

    Itt I give and bequeath unto Edw Bless my nephew the sum of five shillings

    Itt I give & bequeath unto Elisabeth Richard the sum of two shillings & six pence

    Itt All the Rest of my goods Cattells & Chattells I give & bequeath unto Thomas Hall my Eldest son whom I nominate and appoint soul Executor of This my Las Will & Testament revoking all former Wills by me formerly made

    Itt I do nominate & appoint Roger Gittins the Elder & Evan William overseers of this my Last Will & Testament
