    A transcription:

    I Christopher Hall of Newtown in the County of Montgomery Tanner do hereby make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) First I will and require that all my just Debts are paid and satisfied Also I Give and Bequeath to my Dear wife Margaret Hall and Eldest Son Thomas Hall all my stock in trade of what kind soever now lying and being in my two tanhouses in Newtown aforesaid or also where to be by them sold or otherwise disposed of and out of and from the money arising therefrom I do hereby give and Bequeath to my said Dear wife the Sum of two hundred pounds of good and lawfull money of Great Britain and to my said Son Thomas Hall I [...] of one hundre pounds of like lawfull money and to my son Christopher Hall the sum of one hundred pounds of like lawfull money and to my son John Hall the sum of sixty pounds of like Lawfull money the said sum of sixty pounds to be paid out of Interest by my Executors hereinafter named and the Interest thereof only to be paid him for his Life In case he is cured or recovers of the Disorder of insanity he now labours under and then he is to be paid the principal sum of sixty pounds which I give to him as above But if my said son John is never recovered of the said Disorder then after his Death I Give and Bequeath the said principal sum of sixty pounds to my said sons Thomas Hall and Christopher Hall their Executors administrators or assigns to be equally divided between them share and share alike also I Give and Bequeath to my said wife Margaret Hall all my household Goods [...] and other household furniture of what nature or kind soever it be to her only use for ever all the Rest Residue and remainder of my personal Estate and whatever remains out of the sale of my House in Rad... after payment of my Debts Funeral Expences and Legacys aforesaid I give and Bequeath to my said wife and three sons to be equally divided between them share and share alike and I do hereby make constitute and ordain my said wife Margaret Hall and my said son Thomas Hall joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the thirteenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and sixty eight
