When his older sister Sarah Ann got married, he scrubbed & painted their new home from top to bottom for them.

Always wore a hard straw hat. _____ said that Tom was the only person who could drive a car with his hat down over his eyes because one of the kids was always bumping it.

Obit Thomas A Cassidy Thomas A Cassidy, husband of Agnes T Cassidy (born Kilgallon) died after a long illness on January 7. The funeral was held on January 12 from his late residence, 835 E Stafford St., Germantown. Solemn Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Immaculate Conception by the Rev Owen J McConville, C.M. The Rev Gregory Campbell, C.M., was deacon and the Rev Paul Day, C.M. was subdeacon. Interment was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, where the final blessing was given by Father McConville, assisted by Father Campbell and Father Day. Sisters of the Good Shepherd and Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary were also present at the Mass. Besides his wife, the deceased is survived by three sons: William J., Vincent E. and Joseph T.; six daughters: Kathleen L., Theresa B., Nancy, Claire, Mrs. James F O'Donnell and Mrs Joseph F Wright and by seven grandchildren.
