Anna cleaned the Parish Church every Saturday while living at the boarding house where she moved after her father married Maggie Morgan. William jumped down off the cemetery wall right in front of Anna and scared her one Saturday night on her way home from cleaning the Church (the men used to cut through the cemetery instead of walking all the way around it). He apologized but Anna was so upset that he offered to walk her home.

Anna met William in England while he was there working. After they married they returned to Ireland to start their family. William went to America to build a life for his wife & three of their four children (Joseph 4, Sara 2 & Helen 1), they joined him a year later. Their oldest son, John, stayed with William's parents to help on the farm.

Anna had a total of 25 siblings. 11 from her parents and another 14 from her father & his second wife.

John T, Julia, Sarah, Mary were orphaned and Uncle Will & Aunt Ann, in the US, sponsored them from Ireland and took them in. Julia was about 6 years old. (Sarah's grandson is John Bonaccorsi!)

John T passed on a tinsmithing job through the Irish network & found himself a time keeping job with the Rail Road. The girls all worked for the local Cotton Mill.
