Post: Thomas BRAMBLE married Amelia Emily BUTLER, 1827, Pike Co, MO. They moved to Pike Co, IL about 1834. I have 1850, 1860, 1880 US Census info on members of this family. Thomas was born in either KY (1850 Census) or MD (1860 Census). By 1860, he gives his name as Thomas N. Brammell, and his children use this spelling of surname in 1880. 6. Pike Co says too early for a death record. 7. In 1870, a Della Bramble (12) resides with Thomas and Amelia. Granddaughter? 8. Land patents: 1830, 1833 Lincoln Co, MO 9. Grave marker reads, "Thos. J. Brammell" aged 75 years. If correct, this would put his birth year around 1801. 10. 1870 Census gives his birth state as Maryland; assets of $3000 real estate, $600 personal. 11. In 1870, a Della Brammell, age 12, resides with them-who is this?
