    Secondary sources assert that this Thomas Barber was born 7 October, either 1671 or 1672. That birth is not recorded in any published Connecticut vital records. According to Windsor vital records, Thomas, son of Samuel and Mary (Coggins) Barber was born at Windsor, 7 October 1671, and buried there 31 October 1673.
