  19. "Theophilus Ritter, son of Phillip and Martha Gillander Ritter, was bornMarch 15th, 1862, in Steuben Township, Steuben County, Indiana, wheremost of his life was spent. He departed this life Jan. 25, 1939. Heleaves to mourn his passing, one brother, Elmer, two sisters, Lovina andOrpha and a half brother, Jacob, and many relatives and friends. Thefuneral services were held at the Klink Funeral Home at 2:30 o'clock onFriday, January 27th with Rev. N.E.Smith, officiating. Burial in theMount Zion cemetery."
