Thelma, age 92, passed away on July 31, 2011 in West Valley City, Utah.

Born to Bert Butcher and Rose Parry on October 15, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Daniel Hansen on October 30, 1939 in Salt Lake City.

The family would like to thank Harry Hessler for being such a good friend; and the Hunter Hollow Care Center and hospice nurses and aides for their excellent care. She will be missed by her family and friends.

Thelma is survived by: her daughter, Rose Marie (James) Puhl; son, Dan (Cori) Hansen, West Valley City, UT; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Patsy Gallagher and Judy (Pete) Gallagher.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Road (1700 West). A viewing will be held one hour prior. Published in the Salt Lake Tribune on August 4, 2011.
