Palmer, RFD Camilla, who died Tuesday, 29 Sep 1970 at Mitchell County Hospital will be held today Wednesday, 30 Sep 1970 at Braswell Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 PM. Elder Earl Childs will officiate assisted by Elder Prentiss Spivey. Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Born in Mitchell County, 26 Oct 1896, Mr. Palmer was 73 years old. He was a farmer. He was the son of Charles and Betsy Ann Bustle Palmer. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Dora Smith Palmer of Camilla; three sons, Daniel V. Palmer of Camilla, Roy P. Palmer of Sylvester and Gene P. Palmer of Columbus; six grandchildren; one brother, Sam Palmer of Camilla. Braswell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
