    Susannah is the daughter of David Berry of Rockingham County, VA and sister of George H. Berry. She married Williams Hank in 1786 or 1787. They became the parents of David (1788), Caleb (1789), Margaret, John, William (1796), Mary (1798), and Jehu (1801). Both became members of the Methodist Church, but Susannah remained a Scottish Presbyterian at heart as long as she lived.
