SUSANNA MEDLIN was born on August 2, 1796 in Pendleton District, South Carolina. She moved to Tennessee. She later moved to Marion County, Alabama. She then moved to Missouri. She then later moved to Texas.

The 1800 census shows Susanna living with her family in Pendleton District, South Carolina.

The 1840 census shows Susanna living with her family in Carroll Township, Platte County, Missouri.

In March 1850 William Ward issued a certificate for 640 acres to Susanah Foster, widow of Ambros Foster and administrator of his estate. He wrote on it "as no field notes had been left by Peter's Agents, another survey should be made." In an application made by Susanna in 1856 states she was still living on her deceased husband's premises.

Susanna died on October 27, 1876 in Tarrant County, Texas.
