"… Susannah _____; and we suppose it was she who m. (2) 24 Oct. 1700, Samuel Hoyt, and d. 26 Mar. 1707."
Susanna Belden could not have been the Susanna who married Samuel Hoyt in 1700. That Susanna bore him four children between 1701 and 1707; Susanna Belden would have been 56 years old at the birth of the youngest. According to the Slawson genealogy, Susanna, daughter of Eleazer and Susanna Slawson, born 1683, is the Susanna Slawson who married Samuel Hoyt. Jacobus, in this sketch of Eleazer, does not include a daughter Susanna, probably because she was not named in his will of 29 April 1698, even though she would not yet have been married at that time.
