Philip's War, for which he received a grant of land at Norwalk, 12 Dec. 1676. He m. Ruth [Hale?]; she m. (2) 4 Jan. 171[_], John Copp. He d. at Norwalk, 26 Nov. 171[3]. Inv. of Lt. John, 11 Mar. 1713/4; widow Ruth made oath. She had been granted adm'n, 15 Dec. 1713. One of his children, Ruth, was bapt. at Fairfield, 7 Oct. 1694."
