Facts and Events
Name[1] Susan Daniel
Alt Name[3] Susanna _____
Alt Name[2][3] _____ Daniels
Gender Female
Birth[1][2][3] 1849 Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, England
Immigration[3] 3 Aug 1855 United Stateson Bridgewater
Marriage 10 Feb 1874 Jackson, Jackson, Michigan, United Statesto Edward Rockwell (add)
Death[4] May 1876 probably
Burial[4] Jackson, Jackson, Michigan, United Statesprobably

She was likely the wife of Edward Rockwell. Arguing for it is that the marriage of Edward Rockwell and Susan Daniels took place at the residence of James Hayhow, who was Susan's brother-in-law (Adelaide's husband). James and Adelaide Hayhoe are buried in the same cemetery as Susan (Daniels) Rockwell. Arguing against it is that Edward's bride supposedly was born in Jackson County, Michigan, and that Susan cannot be found in the 1860 or 1870 censuses of Jackson County, Michigan (although it is assumed she was the Susie Daniels who witnessed her brother Thomas's marriage in 1868).

The only alternative Susan Daniels in the 1870 census of Jackson County, Michigan, was the daughter of Philander and Alvira Daniels, born about 1850 in New York (so not a great match for the marriage record either). Philander Daniels is also buried in the same cemetery as Susan (Daniels) Rockwell.
