Parents

It is not clear whether John Daniels was Rose's biological father. John and Ann were likely estranged by the time Ann emigrated in 1855, and they were not in the same household in the 1851 census. However, their living apart in 1851 might have been due to economic circumstances, as they were clearly not wealthy (John being an agricultural laborer his whole life and Ann and children having emigrated in steerage).
