1810 Brooke Co.VA Census, Skelton and John Standiford appear. It is very possible they are brothers. In 1820 they both appear with their families in Ohio Co., VA, as well as 1830 and 1840. John's wife seems to be deceased. A John and Benjamin Standiford appear in Wood Co. VA in 1850. Skelton and family stayed in Ohio/Marshall Co. and records are found until deaths are recorded. Skelton and wife Mary Standiford last appear on 1860 Marshall Co. Census living beside their son Abraham and family in what appears to be Washington District.
