Simeon Taylor witnessed wedding of John Litteler and Mary Ross in 1728 and of Josiah Baily and Sarah Mash in 1734 at New Garden monthly meeting. In 1736 he and his wife were granted a certificate to Hopewell MM. [3]

From ‘Hopewell Friends History’ - Simeon was the first clerk of the Hopewell MM, having arrived there with a certificate from E. Nottingham dated 4th month, 1738 for himself and his wife. In 1764, Simeon left Hopewell for the New Garden meeting in NC, with certificate issued for self, wife, kids John and Ann.
