Silvanus Baum, 74, a retired shoemaker, died yesterday at his home, 616 Market street (sic), Lemoyne. He was a former resident of Mechanicsburg and was a member of the Lutheran Church of Goodyear and of the White Circle Lodge of Carlisle.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ezemiah Baum; a son, Frank A. Baum; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Sadler, both of Mechanicsburg; two brothers, Eli Baum, Mechanicsburg, and Jesse Baum, Carlisle Springs, and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Myers funeral home, Mechanicsburg. The Rev. Paul E. Cooper, Lemoyne, will officiate. Burial will be in the Old Graveyard, Carlisle. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight.
