    Jesse Baum, 82, a former saw mill operator and carpenter, died last Friday night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Melvin Spahr, in Carlisle Springs.
    He was a member of the Bethel Evangelical Grier's Point Church, and the order of United American Mechanics of Shermans Dale.
    In addition to Mrs. Spahr, he is also survived by the following children; Mrs. E.L. Ludgwig of Penbrook, Mrs. Bessie Phelps, of Harrisburg, Ross of Newville, RD1, Herman of Carlisle and Charles and Mrs. Louis Jones, both of Shermans Dale; 24 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
    Services were held Tuesday morning at 10:30 from Grier's Point Church, with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
    Note that Jesse Baum, Elmira J. Baum and Harry A. Baum all share the same stone. Elmira and Harry died within 9 days of each other. Contributed by #47099839
