    Children of Henry Willis and Phebe Powell: "Silas Willis, born 1715-16, died 17th of 4th month, 1745; married Ann Pearsall, daughter of Henry Pearsall, died 1st month, 1740-41, and had Jordan, Phebe, and one that died young."

    Will of "Silas Willis, of Hempstead harbor", dated "19 day of the 12 month, 1744/5" [19 Feb 1744/45, proved 29 Jul 1745, mentions wife Ann, son Jordan, "believe that my wife is with child". Uncles John Willis of Westbury, Jacob Titus of Wheatly, and Samuel Willis of Jericho executors.
