[This marriage date appears off by one year, probably a double-dating error, since their first child was born a month later.]

The following is "summarized and condensed" from an account written by Samuel Willis, one of Silas's uncles, giving the children of all his brothers and sisters:
Children of Henry Willis and Phebe Powell: "Silas Willis, born 1715-16, died 17th of 4th month, 1745; married Ann Pearsall, daughter of Henry Pearsall, died 1st month, 1740-41, and had Jordan, Phebe, and one that died young."
[Note: Ann clearly did not die 1740-41 as all the children were born after that date and her subsequent remarriage to Matthew Prior is documented, so "1st month, 1740-41" is presumed to mean the marriage date.]
