Facts and Events
He graduated from Story City High School in 1907. He went, as honor
student from Story City High School, with the Iowa boys, to the
inauguration of President Theodore Roosevelt at Washington, D.C., in 1905.
He attended Iowa State College, 1908-10, Cornell College, Mount Vernon,
Iowa, 1910-11, and St. Olaf College, 1911-13, B.A. 1913. He was assistant
cashier of the Story City National Bank, 1913, when he was taken ill with
TB. He died in California, June 23, 1918, and was buried at Story City,
Iowa.
