JAY -- Scott Wilson Hinkley, 57, died Tuesday afternoon at the CMG Hospital where he had been a patient for a day.
He was born in Phillips, March 10, 1910, the son of George and Everdene Hinkley. Mr. Hinkley was educated in Livermore Falls schools and resided in Jay for 31 years. He was a barber most of his life and was a member of the Barbers' Union. In 1936 Mr. Hinkley married the former Marion Hardy who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Joyce Given; a son, G. Douglas Hinkley; and a step-daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Jackson, all of Jay; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In Lewiston, Tuesday, May 23, 1967, Scott W. Hinkley. Services at the L. P. Brown Funerla Home, Livermore Falls, Friday 1 P.M. public. Friends may also call at the Funeral Home, Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. Interment Jay Hill Cemetery. |
