James Boatwright, son of Daniel & Jane Martin Boatwright, was born in Hanover or Cumberland County, VA in 1768. He married Sally Thomas in 1789 and removed to Campbell County, VA about 1790. He married Rhoda Wood in that county and died in there, leaving a will naming Rhoda and children.
1. Shirley Mae Hicks Boatwright (Topeka) states:
a. Will In Campbell County, VA Book 10, pg. 422, 23.
b. Will book #3, pg 169, 7 June 1769 Prob. 25 May 1801, Cumberland Co, Va.
c. Buried on his plantation in the Boatwright Cemetery. No marker. ...
