While she is not mentioned in Richard Taylor's 1673 inventory, her own will mentions John, Joseph, Martha and Mary (who were mentioned in Richard's inventory) as well as additional siblings.

Abstract of her probate

  1. The inventory of Sarah Taylor of Barnstable (died single) was taken Aug. 16, 1695, and amount to £34 19s. Deacon Job Crocker and Samuel Cobb, brothers-in-law, were made administrators Sept. 23, 1695. The estate was, Sept. 13, 1695, ordered equally divided between the brothers and sisters of the deceased, given in the following order, to wit: John Taylor, Joseph Taylor, Mary Marchant, Martha Bearse, Elizbaeth Cobb, Hannah Crocker and Ann Davis. The inventory consisted of wearing apparel, five pounds of worsted yarn, a Bible, cattle, sheep and lambs, cash moneys due from Samuel Cobb and Joseph Bearse, &c.

Sarah Taylor’s Estate

“An invintory of ye estate of Sarah Taylor of Barnestabl Deceased ye 31: day of July 1695: Taken this 16 day of August 1695,” by James Gorham and Henry Cob. There was no real estate. The total was L32, 6s., 6d. Samuel Cob owed the estate 10s., and it owed Joseph Bearse L2, 2s., 6d.

“Deacon Job Crocker and Samuel Cob made oath to” the inventory, 13 September 1695.

On 23 September, 1695, “Deacon Job Crocker and Samuel Cob Brothers in Law of Sarah Taylor Late of Barnstable deceased Intestate” were appointed administrators.

“The Estate of Sarah Taylor late of Barnestable deceased Intestate: was on ye thirteenth day of September 1695 Setled as followeth viz that when her Debts and funeral Charges are Satisfied and paid that then ye Rest of ye Estate of Sd deceased to be Equally devided between all ye Brothers and Sisters of Sd deceased (that is to Say) To John Taylor Joseph Taylor Mary Marchnt* Martha Bearse Elizabeth Cob Hannah Crocker and Ann Daves to every one an equal part of said estate.”
