Probably the Jno Taylor who served in King Philip's war from Yarmouth:

1. first march June 24 (1675) (to Mt. Hope)
2. not on second expedition to Narragansett
3. third expedition (one month)
4. fourth expedition

He was taxed in Yarmouth the following year to help raise funds to cover the costs of the war.

A John Taylor Sr was listed as receiving 23 shares of land in the 1712 distribution in Yarmouth.
