By 1910, four children had been born and were alive.

There is a message in Carrie Corll's autograph book that reads, "Carrie May you always be good and happy is the wish for your aunt Sarah J. Corll". It is not dated, but the entries before and after are dated 1890, 1891.

Obituaries

SARAH JANE CORL

 Mrs. Sarah Jane Corl, wife of W.J. Corl, of Pomona, and for many years a resident of this city, passed way yesterday at the family home in that city.  Mrs. Corl, who was nearly 77 years of age, has not been in robust health for some time, and her passing was due to the general weaknesses incident to  old age.  The funeral services will be held in Pamona tomorrow morning at 10:30 o'clock from Hanson's undertaking parlors.
 It will be 30 years the 22d of September that Mr. and Mrs. Corl came to Riverside to make their home, and two of their children, Perry C. Corl and Mrs. W.H. Bass, still live here.  Another son, Lester C. Corl, lives in Pomona and another, Chauncy Corl makes  his home in Los Angeles.  Mr. Corl was one of the pioneer business men of the city for many years conducted a grocery store on East Eighth street, just across the railroad tracks.  After disposing of interests here, a number of years ago, Mr. and Mrs. Corl went ot Long Beach and later moved to Pomona, where they have made their home ever since.
 Mrs. Corl was born in Ohio, and one brother, A.T. Strock, still resides there.  Another brother, H.K. Strock lives in Los Angeles.  During her residence here Mrs. Corl was a member of the Congregational church.

MRS. SARAH JANE CORL

 Mrs. Sarah Jane Corl, whose family home was 390 Molino avenue this city, died recently in Pomona at the age of 77 years.  She had been away from Long Beach about two years.  Concerning Mrs. Corl's death the Pomona Progress says:
 "While sitting on the porch at her home, 341 South Parcells street Mrs. Sarah Jane Corl passed away suddenly and without any indication that she was near death.  Altho she had been an invalid for four years she had improved in health recently and her death was unexpected.
 "The deceased was a native of Ohio.  She is survived by her husband, W.J. Corl, three sons, L.C. Corl, of Pomona, C.B. Corl of Los Angeles, and P.S. Corl of Riverside; one daughter, Mrs. Ida Bass of Riverside and two brothers, A.T. Strock of Ohio, and H.K. Strock of Los Angeles."
