At Albion, Wis., on the 7th inst., of inflammation of the lungs, Sarah, wife of Giles F. Lawton, and daughter of Dea. Joseph A. Potter, aged 25 years, 4 months, and 16 days. Sister Lawton experienced religion in early life, and such was her devotion to the cause of the Redeemer that approaching death was disarmed of all its terror. Her parting blessing upon her family and friends was truly interesting, and the tenderness with which she presented her Bible and Testament to her two little children, that they might learn therefrom where mother their had gone, was truly expressive of that faith which is "a full conviction of things not seen."
