In Albion, Dane Co., Wis., March 18th, 1869, of chronic disease, at the residence of her brother, Dea. S. R. Potter, Mrs. Angelina, wife of Rev. J. H. Wells, of Lind, Waupaca Co., Wis., and daughter of the late Dea. Joseph Potter, aged 52 years.
The deceased was born in Grafton, N. Y., where, at the age of fourteen years, she made a profession of religion, and united with the Seventh-day Baptist Church of Petersburgh, N. Y. Subsequent to marriage, she united with an Association Baptist Church, and at the time of her death she was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Leon, Waushara Co., Wis. Sister Wells bore her protracted decline with patience and resignation, and triumphed over the "king of terrors." through faith in the blood of the Lamb.
Her husband, three sons, and a large circle of relatives, are comforted with the assurance, that the event that covers them with sorrow ultimates in the endless blessedness of the departed. J. C.
