    SARAH MYERS RITES wEDNESDAY
    East Jordan -- Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah E. (Sadie) Myers, 88, lifelong resident of this community, will be held at the Watson Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Theodore Hamilton will officiate. Burial will be in Morehouse cemetery in Echo Township, Antrim county. Mrs. Myers, who was spending the winter in Charlevoix with her sister, Mrs. Amos Towsley, died unexpectedly Sunday while on a visit to this community. Born in Echo township in Antrim county June 5, 1891, the former Sarah E. Murphy had always resided in this area. She was a member of Faith Baptist church. Surviving are a son, Clare L. Staley of Charlevoix two granddaughters; five sisters, Mrs. Charlotte Sadler of Alanson, Mrs. Mary Ann Spence of Ridgetown, Ont., Mrs. (Hattied) Towsley of Charlevoix, Mrs. May Kidder, and Mrs. Belle Sweet of East Jordan and two brothers, Ervin Murphy and Raymond Murphy, both of East Jordan.
