OBITUARY OF MRS. WHITCOMB

 Sarah Ellen Mahnensmith was born in Adams county, Ind., September 4, 1857, and united in marriage to Charles O. Whitcomb, February 14, 1877, and departed this life October 28, 1924, at the age of 67 years.
 She leaves a husband, three sons, Harry and Claude of Mt. Pleasant, and Earl of Spring Lake, and one daughter, Mrs. Wm. Leahy, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Double of Warren, Ohio, and Mrs. Wm. Short of Lansing, besides eight grand children.
 She united with the United Brethren church when a girl and for the past five years has been a member of the Methodist church here. She was also a member of the order of the Eastern Star and the W.R.C.
 For years she has been a patient sufferer, but always able to see the silver lining to the clouds that come in this life.
 Funeral services were held at the ___.
