Ruth Isley Teague May 22, 2007 9:55 PM BURLINGTON — Mrs. Ruth Isley Teague, 88, of 416 Bryan Street, Burlington, died at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Monday, May 21, 2007 at 10:35 a.m. A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Thomas Ervin Teague, and the daughter of Hubert Isley and Viola Murray Isley, both deceased. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Graham and was active in her church circle. She was a member of Grove Park Gardens Club, the Burlington Women’s Club, and The Burlington Executive Club. Survivors include two sons, Mr. Larry T. Teague and wife, Carole, of Mebane and Mr. D. Keith Teague and wife, Penny, of Elizabeth City; one sister, Mrs. Christine Whitesell of Hawfields; six grandchildren, Hayes Teague, Isley Forrester, John Teague, Anna Teague, David Teague, and Gralyn Teague; and one great-grandson, Chandler Forrester. She was preceded in death by one brother, H. V. “Buddy” Isley. A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel, Burlington on Thursday, May 24, 2007 at 11 a.m. by Dr. David Kolb. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Graham, 224 North Main Street, Graham, N.C. 27253 or to the New Directions International, 323 West Harden Street, Graham, N.C. 27253.
