Sarah I. Butler
Mrs. Sarah I. Butler, 65, of Accord died suddenly Sunday at her home. Born Jan. 1, 1910, in Accord, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Angie Krom Hornbeck and was married to the late William E. Butler. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. James J. (Geraldine) Beckham of Charleston, N.C.; two sisters: Mrs. Olive Frank and Mrs. Florence Sullivan of Hopewell Junction; a brother, Percy N. Hornbeck of Poughkeepsie; three grandchildren, Allisen and Michaelle Beckham and George Barnes of Charleston, N.C.; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the H.B. Humiston Funeral Home, Kerhonkson. The Rev. Wilhelm K. Haysom, pastor of the Federated Church of Kerhonkson will officiate. Burial will be in Accord Rural Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home this evening 7 to 9.
