Obituary from The Poughkeepsie Journal, June 6, 1975 Mr. Hornbeck Percy Hornbeck, 64, of 30 Green St., City of Poughkeepsie, died Monday at St. Francis Hospital. He had been employed at Schatz Federal Bearing, Poughkeepsie, before his retirement in June 1977. Mr. Hornbeck was born in Accord on Feb. 18, 1915, the son of Roy and Angie (Crom) Hornbeck. He was a member of the Moose Club, Hyde Park. Mr. Hornbeck is survived by two sons, Roy of New Hamburg and Edward of New Britain, Conn.; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Sullivan and Mrs. Olive Frank, both of Hopewell Junction; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of the William G. Miller and Son Funeral Home, 59 Montgomery St., City of Poughkeepsie. References
