Joshua Conkling's "wife's death" is recorded in the Sexton's Book of the First Pres Ch. Litell says Joshua's wife, Sarah died May 17, 1770. J. McClatc identifies Joshua's wife as Sarah Halsey. Littell appears to differentiate between this Sarah and her sons wife, of the same name by calling her Sarah H.
