Second wife From Tolman, Hanks Willey published book, December 1952. (This apparently refers to Source:Mecham, Leonidas DeVon. Family Book of Remembrance and Genealogy with Allied Lines, p. 287, 299. Appears to mention Samuel Sprague only on these two pages, does not show 2 wives, only Sarah Green, and lists all the children on p. 299. Sarah Green is born Sep. 1662, but the Malden Births on p. 106 has an added record (original): Sarah Green, da of John, b. 14 Jan 1676/77. Such a Sarah Green would not be old enough to be the mother of most of the children, and would have to be a second wife, but there is no evidence of any other marriage and it is possible the 1676/77 birth belongs to a different John Green. More research is needed.)
