According to the 1900 census[6], she was the daughter of Michael Stahl and Sarah Ferris, but both her death record[1] and the 1880 census[3] indicate otherwise, and she used the surname Ferris in her marriage record[5]. Therefore, it is assumed that she was the daughter of George Ferris and Clara Baird, but raised (and possibly adopted) by Michael Stahl and Sarah Ferris.
