Memory of Ruth Zimmerman Brickner: " Fred had a son called Fred that they called Fritz, who lived across the road from them at the lake. Fritz Ritter: lived in Flint. Pam and I drove there to visit him and stay one night. Fritz was born with a rupture. They always said he would never have children it was so bad. After he was married some years, they didn't have any children. All of a sudden they come up with a little boy. My mom asked him, "How did you ever manage that?" He told her he went to a doctor and they fixed him up. "
