Facts and Events
In 1674, John Nutting, the husband of Sarah, and Samuel Blodgett, who had married Ruth Eggleton, signed an agreement to provide for Jane Cole, widow of Isaac Cole, their mother-in-law. Ruth and Sarah, sisters, were thus not the daughters of Elizabeth Bennett Iggleton of Roxbury.[1] In 1676, "widow Nutting" was paid a bounty for killing a wolf (Source:Sewall, Samuel. History of Woburn, Middlesex County, Mass, p. 57). References
