He is there on the 1870 census , age 3, with parents[p 3 fam #41/40], and there on the 1880 census, age 13, with parents, w here he works on farm. [ED 56, p.46D, fam #74/74] He married Hulda S. STONEROCK 9 Feb 1899 i n Brown Twp., Darke Co.,Oh.[DkCoM -2, p 210] She was born Nov 1879 in Oh. The entry in "Dar ke Co. Marriages" gives parents as "Jonathan Stonerock and _______Hassinger." On the 1900 cen sus, Samuel is age 34 and a farmer, in Brown Twp., Darke Co., Oh. Wife Hulda S., 21, declar es they have been married one year and she has born one child, seen in the home. She report s that her father was born in Ohio, but her mother born in Virginia. [D 50, p 58A, fam #203/ 206] In 1910, Samuel, 44, and Hulda 31, continue on their farm in Brown Twp. Hulda declare s they have been married 11 years and she has born 3 children, seen in the home. They live ne xt door to brother Joseph. [ED 76, p 8A, fam #173/177] The 1920 census finds Samuel, 54 and s till farming in Brown Twp.. Hulda is 40. Their three sons are still in the home.[ED 93, p 2]
