He was living in 1850 Jackson Co Tenn with Malinda and children. In 1860, 1870 in Putnam Co Tenn. Samuel allegedly died in 1905 at the age of 100 years and a day, however his name does not appear in the 1900 census. His wife was born 10 Jan. 1818 in Putnam Co. Tenn, died there 1898.
