Griner, former Mitchell countian and son of Mr. And Mrs. Sam Griner, took place Monday, 12 January 1948, in Winter Haven, Fla., and interment was in the cemetery there. A resident of Winter Haven for a number of years, Mr. Griner was a victim of accidental gas poisoning, his death occurring at a hospital Saturday, 10 January 1948. Relatives going down to Winter Haven for the funeral included Dr. and Mrs. J. G. Crovatt, Mr. C. G. Griner, Mrs. T. W. Curles and Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Palmer.
